How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

An easy one-stop-shop! A sense of relief, as the shoes were gorgeous, practical, comfy, and “not just a wedding shoe.”

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?

Hens night: White Kiss Boots / Ceremony: Ceremony Sandals / Reception: Sugar Bootie

What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

They were comfy, stylish – and had a bit of personality to them.

How did you and your husband meet?

We met at a local bar at Nobbys Beach, Gold Coasts. He saw a mutual friend talking to me, and he couldn’t resist meeting me, and after the night was over – I couldn’t resist stalking him and messaging him on facebook.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

5 years. Rhys proposed at Yamba, upon sunrise, after talking me through a morning breathing meditation – I opened my eyes and he was on one knee.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

His resilience, his crazy sense of humour, and his sense of adventure, oh and he's not bad to look at either.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

MAGICAL

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

After 1 postponed Covid Wedding Date already, the best memory was just having all of our people together. Walking into the ceremony, as husband and wife, and seeing all of our family and friends cheering us on and celebrating us was an indescribable feeling.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

The Bower Estate – the view was unbelievable, the moment we stepped onto the venue, we knew this was it. It is a venue with breath-taking views and a wonderful events team that made everything so easy and exciting.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Be as organised as you can be, so that you can enjoy the week leading up to your wedding. It is a week filled with family and friends, excitement and nerves, and when you are organised – you can enjoy all of those moments! Oh and just assume something will go wrong, or something will be forgotten – takes the pressure off!.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

My Best Friend, the wonderful designer and owner of Made With Love Bridal, Carla Hupfeld.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It feels amazing, there is a whole new sense of pride in my relationship with calling Rhys my husband, and I feel like my love heart eyes for him have only gotten bigger and bigger!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We spent a week on a beautiful island on the Whitsundays, eating chef prepared meals and cocktails by the pool - (planned by me) – and then 2 weeks in a Troop Carrier camping and driving from Cairns through to Darwin (planned by Rhys).
