Anna wears our Melody Low heels

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

Amazing! As soon as I saw the shoes I immediately knew I wanted them. They were so unusual but classic - I wanted a comfy heel with block sole and tie straps and love pearls and suede so everything about them was perfect. All the other wedding shoes seemed very cookie cutter - standard heels with stiletto heels and plastic feeling. They shipped so quickly (I live in the UK) and were packaged perfectly.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Melody Heels in Desert Blush. The pearls, the straps and the heel (I also adored the colour) - hard to pick 1 thing!

How did you and your husband meet? How long have you been together and how did he propose?

At school 13 years ago! He proposed on a hike in Kerry, Ireland on my 28th Birthday with our rescue labrador Ozzie in tow and pulled out a beautiful Chupi ring which was magical.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He's kind, gorgeous and always makes me laugh!

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Magical

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Walking in to the ceremony together with our dog.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

In The Temple of Minerva, the botanical gardens, Bath, UK. We love Bath as this is where my husband went to Uni so this is somewhere we've spent a lot of time - it's historic and so pretty! We wanted a small  low-key wedding (we only had 13 guests - immediate family) but with lots of personal touches and a nature vibe so it was perfect!

Who created your gorgeous gown?

It was from Folkster an independent shop in Ireland.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

Amazing we feel like a proper family and love wearing our wedding rings.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went to a cottage in Wales immediately after the wedding and plan to go all out for a luxury getaway somewhere hot soon!

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Wear a dress and have your hair and make up how you feel comfortable so you are relaxed and confident on the day and not constantly fiddling with your outfit or hair - don't feel you need to go with someone that's not your style just because it's 'bridal'. I picked out a dress I loved but it wasn't an official wedding dress however I felt so comfortable in it and got tones of compliments. Also, don't be afraid to do exactly what you want! I have great friends and wider family which I love but knew I wanted a simple low key wedding with immediate family only. I also didn't want lots of traditional wedding things like a cake, bridal party or fresh flowers (I had dried flowers which were gorgeous and I now have in my house) and wanted to walk in together with my now husband and dog- all of which were not traditional but I'm so glad we went ahead with what we wanted. We had the perfect day which was relaxed but had loads of personal touches (and also didn't spent a fortune so have lots left for travel which we love).
