How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

As a Forever Soles bride, I felt so beautiful! I felt like my shoes complimented my dress and suited the uniqueness of our wedding

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Honey Sandal. I loved the elegance and timelessness of the Honey sandal, and was delighted to find that they were practical and comfortable, which was a bonus! It was hard to find wedding shoes that made a statement but also were reasonably priced. Luckily Forever Soles ticked all the boxes.

How did you and your husband meet?

My husband and I have known each other since we were kids, we were fortunate enough to have close families and grew up together.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We have been together for roughly 5 years and he proposed in Rotorua on a weekend away trip for my birthday.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He would do anything to keep me smiling.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Joyful

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

The whole day was amazing, but I specifically loved the car trip to our reception location where it was just my husband and I talking about the day so far and the realisation that we were actually married, sinked in. It was a peaceful yet exciting moment.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

We got married in Raglan out at my in-laws house which overlooked the water. And our reception was at Iguana in Hamilton. These venues were actually last minute changes a couple months before the wedding due to unforeseen Covid impacts but we still loved the venues regardless.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

I bought the dress from Astrabridal. The label is Theia Couture.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It feels right and natural! I am excited to finally be a wife and see where our lives take us.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We traveled up north of New Zealand in a camper van and stopped wherever we felt like we wanted to. We explored the natural beauty that the Country had to offer.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

When it gets to the wedding day, enjoy it for what it is, whether it goes to plan or doesn’t. Make the most of it!
