How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

Initially, I was drawn to a pair of sale shoes that I ordered, only to discover the next day that they were sold out. However, the customer service team promptly reached out and diligently assisted me in finding another pair of shoes that I absolutely adored. At the time, I was grappling with the recent passing of my mother and the added stress of last-minute shoe shopping, all while coping with her absence from my wedding. Unaware of my personal circumstances, the customer service representatives at Forever Soles exhibited extraordinary kindness and provided exceptional service, for which I can never thank them enough.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Honey Sandals in Blue. The vibrant colour of my shoes perfectly fulfilled the pop of colour I had envisioned. They distinguished themselves from other styles I've encountered and evoked the elegance of a Charles James dress, offering the versatility of two shoes in one with the added straps. They proved ideal for capturing stunning pictures and remained incredibly comfortable throughout the entire day.

How did you and your husband meet?

I met my husband at work and I took the initiative to ask him out. Before our official first date at a professional hockey game, we enjoyed several casual coffee outings together, where he spent a small fortune on Starbucks drinks.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We have been together for four years. He chose to propose during his family's trip to the Bahamas,

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He consistently speaks truthfully, radiates kindness towards everyone he meets, and exudes an infectious energy that uplifts those around him.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Breathtaking

What is your favourite memory from your day?

The first look was a cherished moment for us, allowing us to share a special, private moment together before the ceremony. As we exchanged vows, the setting sun seemed to offer a gentle reminder of my mom's presence, adding a deeply meaningful touch to our special day.

Where was your location? What made you choose this location?

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Stevensville, MD

It was the location of my dreams, and amazingly, it was the first venue we visited. The waterfront setting and the overall vibe captivated us both from the start. After touring a couple of other venues, it became clear that none could compare. The unmatched combination of fantastic food, exceptional staff, and picturesque location sealed the deal for us!

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

Amazing! Now that the wedding day has passed, we can shift our focus to other exciting life plans and continue building our future together. There's so much to look forward to!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

After deliberation, we opted to postpone our honeymoon for a couple of months. We chose an all-inclusive resort in the Riviera Maya in Mexico for our upcoming getaway. We wanted a way we could unwind, indulge in delicious cuisine, and enjoy the sun and water.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

While it's inevitable that challenges may arise and things might not go exactly as planned, the true essence of your wedding day lies in the abundance of love and the presence of cherished friends and family who are there to support and celebrate with you.
