How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

My experience as a Forever Soles bride was nothing short of amazing. My beautiful MOH surprised me with the Ceremony Sandals and I wouldn’t have gone with anything else! They were the perfect touch to my dress and so easy to walk in which was a bonus as we walked through paddocks and gravel to get the perfect shots.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?

The Ceremony Sandal High Heel

What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

Apart from the fact they are absolutely stunning, like I mentioned earlier - they were super comfortable even with the higher heel and so easy to walk in uneven terrain.

How did you and your husband meet?

Very cliche haha but it was in 2016 and we were both involved in the NRL NQ Cowboys - He played football and I was a cheerleader. We had mutual friends where we met on a night out, and the rest is history!

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

After following him for 2 years for football, he finally decided to make it official in 2018, then 20 days after our 2nd year anniversary he popped the question.

I had absolutely no idea - and the story is super funny but we had just done a massive clean out of the house and needed to get rid of some stuff, so he organised for us to do a dump run after I finished work and then we would take the dogs for a walk along the beach which was our afternoon ritual, so I thought nothing of it.

We got to the beach and we went a different way than normal (still thought nothing of it). He walked away from me and started taking photos of me with the most beautiful sunset, then told me ‘do that look away thing where you pose’ (lol) and when I had turned back around to him he was on his knee with the ring box - it was just magical.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He could light up the darkest room and always has me in stitches from laughter - I don’t know anyone with a sense of humour or big heart like his.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

Made With Love Bridal - I actually tried on the Ceremony Sandal with my dress at the try on (Gold Coast) and that’s how I fell in love with my Forever Soles Shoes - I knew from then they were the ones!

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Fun!

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Reading our vow’s - It was such a special moment of pure love and laughter - People didn’t believe we didn’t write them together because of how similar they were!

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Lazy Acres - just outside of Rockhampton, QLD.

We found the venue on Instagram before we were even engaged and said that was the place we would get married.

Once we were engaged, we didn’t look anywhere else - We enquired and they had our date available so we just knew it was meant to be!

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

Super sad that the day is gone - We had so much fun, I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in my life! And I have so much free time now hahaha I don’t know what to do with myself! We’re still on cloud 9, it’s the best feeling ever and I’d do it again and again as-long as it was with Cooper xx (still getting used to the new name though hahaha)

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went glamping in Agnes Waters/1770 for a few days - it’s so beautiful down there! Then we went to Townsville for a week - We stayed at The Ville, went on a few Fishing trips to the reef, went on a helicopter and drank a lot of cocktails. 2 weeks of the best experiences and memories I’ll forever cherish xx

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Don’t worry about anything that goes wrong on the day - I spent all morning setting up the table settings and by 1pm the wind had blown it everywhere. I picked it all up, put it in a box and told myself ‘it is what it is’ - People don’t care about the little things like place cards and napkins - it’s about coming together to celebrate.

Take the day as it is - you spend so much time planning, there’s no point in stressing over the little details! Have a glass of wine, and soak it all up - it goes by SO fast xxx
