TIFFANY & ANDREW

Thank you Tiffany & Andrew for sharing your most beautiful wedding with us!

See the incredibly beautiful photos, video and interview now. Be warned... it is a tear jerker! xx

Where are you & your husband from?

I'm from Iowa. Andrew's family was military growing up, so he rarely spent more than a few years anywhere. He lived in 7 states and 2 other countries growing up, but we met in high school in Iowa, so that's the easy answer. We currently live in Hawaii, and you could maybe tell that we tucked Hawaiian style anywhere we could into our wedding: the dress, the flowers, the engagement, etc.

Where was the location of your ceremony and wedding?

We got married at Andrew's aunt's estate in Marion, Iowa. These people have the greatest style in the world and were generous enough to let us show it off on our big day. The ceremony, reception, getting ready, everything took place at their home which meant my dad out in their yard every day for months beforehand tending to the grass, so you could say it was a big deal.

Who created your gorgeous dress and bridesmaid dresses?

Joelle Perry (@joelleperryhawaii) designed my dress. And my bridesmaids each found their own gold dress, so I'm not sure on those!

What is one word that would best describe your wedding?

 Ours <3

What is the most amazing thing about your relationship together?

It was love at first sight with Andrew, I knew the second I laid eyes on him. As if that wasn't amazing enough, we're both freelance artists and so most of the time we spend all day together bouncing from coffee shop to coffee shop and critiquing and pushing each other's work and we rarely get tired of each other.

What was the most challenging part of organising a wedding?

The most challenging part was just the decision making of it all. I've never had to make so many decisions in my life and I also didn't anticipate how many other opinions would have to be taken into account. It was very easy to get overwhelmed, especially with all those incredible styled shoots taunting the budget.

What was your aisle song and first dance song?

I walked down the aisle to You're Beautiful by Phil Wickham and our first dance song was Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's.

What is one scene in the wedding that will forever be in your memory?

That confetti going off as we walked down the aisle!!! I had attended several weddings over the years and I always hated how the magic of the moment sort of depended on whether the people watching reacted or not. I mean this is two people saying I am dedicating my life to you, and I think that is absolutely huge. So we decided to not leave it up to chance and enlisted my best friend's husband to set off confetti and it was every bit as wonderful as I had imagined.

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

I loved being a Forever Soles bride! It was a beautiful detail that was so me and I felt so elegant in those sandals. They matched the beachy, airiness of my dress and I was so comfortable all day walking through the soft grass barefoot.
